A renowned Islamic scholar, Alhaji Muyideen Bello, has been confirmed dead.

The Islamic leader, who was born in 1940 in Ibadan, Oyo State, was widely known and respected for his teachings and dedication to Islamic scholarship.

The announcement of his demise was made by another prominent Islamic scholar, Alfa Aribidesi of At-Tawdeeh Islamic Da’awah, on Friday morning. The news was also corroborated by popular cleric and follower of the late Bello, Alhaji Basit Olarenwaju, also known as Aponle Anabi, who shared a tribute to the late scholar on his official Facebook page.
