He is a seasoned and trusted professional who has made a solid Mark in brick molding practice and management with the past 20years at home and abroad. Let have insight about your humble self?
My name is Kunle Benson Yombo .Am from Shagamu in Ogun State. I attended Local Authority Primary School , Ipara Remo, Ogun State and my secondary school at Saapade Grammar School,Ipara Remo, Ogun State before I went to learn auto mobile mechanic engineering. By the grace of God,i am the CEO of Benson K. Yombo Venture where solidify and cemented blocks are been mold and sell to building contractors at affordable prices. Our customers knows us for the quality of blocks that comes out from our organization.
Why do you prefer the blocks molding business to auto mobile mechanic engineering you learnt ?
It wasn’t my intention to start block molding business but by God’s grace and mercy. I thank God that He used one of my customers (Mr. Seun Famomo).He looked at me one day and asked me ,how I am been prepare to spend my old age due to hard labour work I was doing as an auto mobile mechanic engineer. There was no technology equipment used then but everything was been done manually. He (Mr. Seun Famomo) advised me to commence block molding business if I get a piece of land to commence small but I thank God where I am today .I faced numerous challenges to the extend of planning to run away from Lagos due to debt incurring. There was a day I was thinking of committing suicide. But, once again, I thank God for where I am today.
What has life taught you?
Life has throw me up and down and I have learnt many things in this life because I lost my mother at tender age. It was my grand mother (my late mother’s mother) that brought me up . Life has taught me to always be patience. Anyone that is always patience has everything in life because he or she will not put hands where he or she will later regret in the future. From my late grand mother, I learnt that a cup of water makes an ocean. That is, slow and steady wins the race . When growing up, whenever I wanted to take irrational steps, I always remember what my late grand mother (Iya Eleba) used to tell me .

What is the secret that makes many youths around you looks up to you as their role model?
Hmmm(laugh).As people looks at me.They know I am a man of integrity. My words are always my bond .What I tell you now, if you ask again next year, I will tell you the same thing without any addition and subtraction.I believes in hard working because working hard doesn’t kills but it pays off .I also do not allow any challenges I am passing through affect my thinking faculty. Am a positive thinker .I am also a man of prayers because I so much believe so much in God .With God ,all things are possible.
At your early stage in life, you learnt auto mobile mechanic Engineering and now you are the CEO of Benson K. Yombo Ventures, can you still fix a car if faulty or you have let it go off you?
By the Special grace of God ,I still fix my car and lorries by myself if faulty mechanically. I still have auto mobile mechanic workshop where I have people working there and they are delivering to me monthly. In life , if you want to excel , don’t depend on one source of income
If the government can assist us in getting access to cements directly from the manufacturers, this will ease the cost of production and maximize profit to us . Even ,this will reduce the cost of buying blocks from us as the Block Molders .
As a business leader ,how have you been able to balance office affairs and home affairs that one does not affect each other?
If truly you know what you are doing ,as a leader, you must not allow one to affect each other. Business atmosphere is different from home atmosphere. Whenever,I am at home ,I forget all about office affairs and when am in office ,I forget everything about home affairs. To be sincere, it takes wisdom to balance the two without affecting each other .
