Who is Pastor Titus Ogunjimi?
Pastor Titus Ademola Ogunjimi is a presiding pastor of Echo of Praise Evangelistic Ministry situated at Isaja Junction ,Ijagemo,Via Ijegun in Igando -Ikotun LCDA,Lagos State . Pastor Titus is also a man of God that will never dilute the words of God because of fame and wealth.
Can you lead us into your profile and ministry?
My life has been a mystery to me , myself. This Echo of Praise Evangelistic Ministry was derived from my musical band’s name .I was a musician before God limited me to be a preacher of His words.My musical band’s name was Echo of Praise International music before the name was re -branded to Echo of Praise Evangelistic Ministry.
What are the challenges you faced when you commenced your ministry and how did you overcome them?
Ah! There are numerous challenges in ministration assignment if truly you are called by God .Even, when God called Moses to meet King Pharaoh to let the Israelites leave Egypt to serve Him (God).Moses and the Israelites faced many challenges but one thing I know is that there is always light at the end of tunnel. What I really appreciate in my calling is that it’s really a divine call by God .I know that I have faced numerous challenges but with God ,I have been able to overcome them. The devil will always attack God’s people but if truly you are  in  God’s path .You will overcome and be victorious. Â
What were the mandate given to you by God when you commenced your ministry?
The mandate given to me by God is in our mission and vision statement but most of the vital aspect is to elevate the standard of living of the less privileges and bring them closer to God in order to serve Him(God) in truth and in spirit (John 4:24).By God’s grace , I have been doing that .There is always a Sunday in every month that palliatives are always given to the less privilege people irrespective of their religion. We don’t discriminate. Evangelizing God’s word is also paramount in the mandate given to me by God .
As a man of prayer and praises ,what has both prayer and praises done in your life and ministry?
Hmmm! There is an adage that says , whenever you think prayer fails , try praises .In many scenario that I look up to God for a particular request and it seems God keeps silent on the matter , I turn it to praises and I realize that God do more than what I requested for .Prayer is communications with God to request from him but praises is appreciating Him for what He has done ,what He is doing and what He will do in faith .Christianity base on faith. Without faith, nobody receives anything from God .
As a cheerful philanthropist, what inspires you?
I remember vividly in year 2004, I was in a secular job .But after closing from work  and reached home , I got a quick notice of 7 days from my landlord despite the fact that I was still having 3months upfront with him.Before then ,God has been calling me into full-time ministry but I was given excuses because I was so comfortable with my job .To be sincere ,I believe that God used my then landlord to punish me.God also used the act to let me know what is poverty.Ah ! Poverty is a bad thing .Since then, there is no how I see someone in need that I will not do my best to help.
Where do you see Echo of Praise Evangelistic Ministry in the next 10years ?
As things are going now, by that year by God’s grace , we should be having 10 mega branches that are really impacting in people’s life.
What is your favorite verse in the Bible as a God’s general that has read Bible from genesis to revelation?
I cannot precisely say that I have not read Bible from genesis to revelation and likewise I can say that I have read bible from genesis to revelation but the most important is how do you read bible? Do you read it as a spiritual book or literature book? Reading bible make us know more about God ,how wonderful He is . and how He(God) want us to live our lives daily .The bible is a complete book of God written by His inspiration.
Who is your role model?
I have numerous role models .One of them is Prophet John Oluwasegun Adebayo ,the General Overseer of Mt. Camel Evangelistic Ministry. I also have Prophet L.O. Adesokan , the General Overseer of The Light Evangelistic Ministry.Rev. (Dr.) Afolabi Ademola is also among. Infact, I have numerous of them that their lives and ministry has been a blessing to me .
As a General Overseer of Echo of Praise Evangelistic Ministry, what message do you have for young pastors looking up to you as their role model?
No! Please don’t refer to me as General Overseer yet. It really worries my heart when I see someone using shop or tent as church  and still refers him or herself as a General Overseer. What are they overseeing ? So am not yet a general overseer but a presiding pastor because we only have one branch for now .But ,I can be called a general overseer when we have up to five or more  branches. I will advise the young pastors to only depend on God that call them in His vineyard .They should not join occultic society because they will surely give account of what they do on earth when our Lord Jesus Christ come to take His people home (Heaven). I will also advise them to be prayerful and watchful.
How does your wife help you in the ministry?
WOW! What a super fantastic woman she is .She is a help -mate that I really treasure so much. Infact, she is a wonderful woman of distinction and a virtuous woman as bible described in proverbs 31:10.
What advise would you give to Nigerians as we are under new administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu?
Am not a politician and I will never be but what I can say is that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should live up to his campaign promises (Renewed Hope).He must not fail Nigerians but the Nigerians should also not relent in their prayers towards the betterment of Nigeria.
