It was a tribute galore to Bishop (Dr.) Adio Obanijesu Peter, the founder and president of Christ Ever Reigns Chapel International located at 17, Afolabi Taiwo Street Ijegun via Ikotun, Lagos State and 3, Lambert Road,Arcadia East London,5201 Eastern Cape South Africa .
Recently , NOBLE INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE bestowed an award of “Outstanding Christian Leadership award” to him.
It was in recognition of his sterling leadership qualities and his invaluable contributions to the growth ,and humanitarian services in Nigeria and world at large.
The award was presented to him in the church auditorium at his Lagos State head quarter by the special projects coordinator of the magazine, Prince Ralph Akindele.It had in attendance the congregation ,friends ,and well wishers ,among others.
Ralph ,who stated that the starling qualities of the bishop necessitated the award ,also extolled his outstanding leadership style in and outside the church. He revealed that ,base on their research ,they discovered that among clerics , Bishop Obanijesu’s leadership role is second to none besides that,the church is witnessing tremendous growth, spiritually and numerically within the time of established.
The congregation and residents within the neighborhood interviewed about Bishop Obanijesu during the investiture also gave credence to the fact that Bishop Obanijesu truly deserves the award and he is a true general of God with honour and integrity. Bishop Adio Obanijesu Peter in his response, appreciated and thanked God for the award and dedicated it to the members of the church.He said the award would not have been possible without their support .He added that it would spur him to do more steadfast and dedicated to the Lord as well as the church in general.
