Who is Apostle Michael Ossy and how long have you been in the ministry?
Apostle Michael Ossy is the senior pastor of Glorious Divine Assembly located at Ajao Estate in Lagos .I commenced preaching the gospel of God in 1987 but Glorious Divine Assembly was established in the year 2000.Since then, God has been so good to us as a family (Glorious Divine Assembly).
Kindly lead us into your life and ministry.
As people do says , life is a journey no matter the challenges . Despite the challenges we faced when the ministry commenced .God has always been there for us .We encountered numerous challenges but God makes us to overcome the challenges .Let me say everything we enjoyed not suffered, it was God’s programme to lift us and catapult us to the where we are today. We are not there yet . We are moving forward .We are not where we are when we are started.
What was the mandate given to you by God when you commenced the ministry?
God specifically told me that i should take the church globally by raising integrity and honesty potential Christians.
As a successful God’s general, what does success means to you sir ?
Success to me means fulfilling God ‘s purpose in our lives.
As a philanthropist, what inspires you to be generous ?
I was in the darkness before I saw light.My generosity is giving back to the society and making positive impact in the life of less privilege people.If Jesus Christ can save a man like me who people regarded as the black sheep .He came to the world to die for our sins . I will forever be grateful to him and worship Him in truth and spirit.
Who can you regards as your role model?
Jesus Christ is my role model but I have a father in the Lord which is Arc. Bishop John Oseni because I have learnt a lot from him as a man of God .
Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years in the ministry?
I will continue to do the work of who called me in his vineyard. The major problem we have in the ministry today is that we want to mix or collaborate the world with the word of God and which is impossible and unacceptable by God. I want to continue to be in the will of God for my life and ministry at large.
As a God’s general that has read Bible from genesis to revelation, what is your favorite Bible verse ?
When we study Bible from genesis to revelation, everything is been centered to a man which is Jesus Christ.All verses in the Bible are so vital to our daily life .It’s just like taken one and leave one other. All are my favorite.
What massage do you have to younger pastors looking up to you as their role model?
I will advise them to set their eyes on Jesus Christ. They should look unto Jesus Christ as their author and finisher of their life. They should also know that challenges will come but when they stand firm in Christ, they will surely overcome the challenges.
As a Nigerian, where are from?
Iam a proud Igbo man from Anambra State (Light of the nation). It’s not a mistake that am a Nigerian but my originality is of God ‘s kingdom (Heaven) .God loaned me to Nigeria to function and do His will as an Apostle just as in football clubs do loan out players to another clubs.
Sir ,what advise do you have for Christians as we are in the end time?
The advise I have for them also goes for myself. Every Christians should do away with anything that will distract them from entering heaven because both heaven and hell are real.
How do you relax due to your tight schedule?
Ah! I relax so well. I plays and interact well with my family .My wife is the best asset God has given me .I am also human because blood flows in my veins. I am not that kind of preacher that will tell people that i fast everyday but I do away with things that will not make God be happy in my life .I runs away from what distract me to serve God genuinely.
